DANCE REGULATIONS

B-Boying / Breakdance
Power moves like e.g. windmills, headspins, flares, airtwist, swipes; important are elements like uprock, toprock, downrock, footwork, floorwork, airfreezes; flexibility, diversity and individuality are also important; acrobatic elements are allowed but no must.

Electric Boogie
Solo male/female, Duo
1.Length of Exhibition: 1 minue all rounds, including the final round
2.Typical Movements and Techniques: Sharp alectric movements that flow into waves, isolations, robot, pantomime elements, popping, animation, electric shock, walking, puppet, ticking, lockinhg, etc. It is important to show more than two different techniques and movements.
3.The dancer(s) should endeavor to create illusions in his or her performance to surprise and ‘electrify’ the audience.Each group of competitors begins with a one-minute performance, dancing together in each round. They then dance three, two or one by one for their one-minute performance or 1 minute performance in the final round. Each group dances a final minute together in each round. To avoid any risk of injuries, judges shall walk around the competition floor in opening and final presentations. Both the opening and final performance give the judges an opportunity to compare the dancers.

Hip-Hop
Includes hip-hop category, Eastern and Western styles such as: bounce, shake, (Harlem style), hzpe, funky stiles (Locking, Popping, Boogaloo, Waving, Floating, Tutting, Ticking, Snaking, Air Posing, Sleepy style...), Newstyle, Krumpin, Dynamic Dance Styles (Uprock, toprock, downrock), Freezes, Foot and Floorwork. We would appreciate to stay in the maintenance of a special style, vocabulary and elements of hip hop culture. Pay attention on costumes (without narrow sexy costumes). Acrobatic movements are allowed but the dance elements and accents must dominate.

Street style:
Disco steps, hip hop, break, Electric, variety of steps, the rhythm, the break will be a high score. Choreography must have a story from beginning to end. Stage props are allowed. It is important to achieve the overall picture of music, ideas, dance steps, costumes and stage supplies. Gymnastic elements are allowed.

Disco style:
Solo and duo - Music chosen by the organizer. Duration: 1 min. Groups and formation: - Music of own choice. Tempo: 33/35 tacts per minute 130/140 bmp.
The competitors in the semifinals dance firstly two pairs at a time and than all together in a group for 1 min so the judges can compare them (a group can consist of 10 pairs max.).
The competitors in the finals dance firstly 1 pair at a time and than all 6 pairs at the same time for 1 min. Allowed steps: all disco moves, pirouettes, jumps. Rhythm, breaks and variety of steps will be highly rated. Gymnastic elements forbidden

Tektonik:
It is based on a blend of techno, rave and hip-hop styles – (late '80s vogue, '90s waving and b-boying, and '70s disco). The dance style emphasizes arm movements and focuses less on leg movements.
